Warner Music Malaysia hosted an amazing “Rudimental Experience” event exclusively for members of the media on 4 July 2013. Tastefully held at Vertigo Club KL, the event was to celebrate the release of Rudimental’s album “Home” which debuted at #1 on the UK album charts and stayed there for 4 weeks straight.
The invited guests joined recording artist, celebrity emcee Jason Vandal in taking a closer look at each track produced and the themes behind the album. Hyping up the listening party was a surprise appearance by DJ Lethal Skillz who appeared for 2 sets to remix the tracks “Right Here,” “Hell could Freeze”, “Spoons”, “Hide” for the first set and” Powerless”, “ More Than Anything”, and “Baby” for the second set. Heating up the tracks during DJ Lethal Skillz 2nd set included Malaysia’s most well-known fire breather adding drama to the audience’s delight.
Highlighted during the event were Rudimental’s “Feel The Love”, ”Not Giving In”, and their current chart topping hit “Waiting All Night” video which took the UK Singles chart and Dance chart by storm for over 5 weeks. Each video embodied Rudimental’s great story telling ability through the use of both music and visuals to deliver a strong message.
The energy of the event rocketed as skateboarders and BMX bikers weaved through the crowd bringing the video on screen to life!
