With a lifetime interest in music & sound, Nicky’s career kicked off by his decision to embark on an Audio course. While still studying, Nicky was introduced to DJing and worked part-time playing at house parties, transporting his own sound system back and forth. As he gathered momentum, he was offered part -time appearances at clubs which developed into regular weekend appearances. Nicky landed his first full time DJ job in 1995 when he joined the R&B Club, “The Cactus Club”. During this period he was also actively involved in the production of a sefl-titled rap album “Naughitus Maximus” under the now defunct Articulate Records.
Because of his initial interest and involvement with sound systems and music Nicky was also actively participating in the production aspects of the industry by forming the ‘Hyper Sound System’.
