On the home front Tigerlily delivers the most unique entertainment experience in all of Australia with her ‘Kiss My Tigerlily’ show at Pacha Sydney. Co-curated with the Squared Division (Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, American Idol), ‘Kiss My Tigerlily’ is a truly transformative affair jam packed with multi-coloured sequins and giant unicorns spreading the #teamunicorn message to all.
Aside from completing a Media & Communications degree at Sydney University and becoming ambassador for RU OK?, Tigerlily has been hard at work crafting her debut EP after signing to Island Records Australia with the first single ‘Paradise’ landing midyear, 2015.
Tigerlily is one of the fast rising young female DJ in the Australian dance music scene. In just over a year, Tigerlily has accomplished more than most can hope to achieve in an entire career holding down residencies at Sydney’s hottest events and supporting international and local superstars such as Avicii, Adrian Lux, Nervo, Mr Skeleton, Flume, Madeon, Tristan Garner, Tommy Trash, and many more.
Inspired by her lifelong dedication to music, 2011 was a breakout year for this young star being selected in the top 75 female DJ’s in Australia and New Zealand in EMI’s She Can DJ competition and taking part in Australia’s most respected competition for young DJ talent, Your Shot, taking second place overall.
Tigerlily holds residencies at some of Sydney’s most popular events and nightspots including Pacha Sydney at The Ivy, Fridays at Soho, Greenwood Thursdays and Cakes at The World Bar, as well as frequenting venues such as Chinese Laundry, Qbar and Oxford Arts Factory to name just a few. To top this off she has also travelled interstate and ventured to Asia, gracing the decks of more top nightclubs. Tigerlily also made her debut on the biggest DJ stage in Australia, Stereosonic Music Festival, playing on the esteemed ‘Outrage’ stage supporting acts such as Mr. Oizo, Crookers and Annie Mac. Furthermore, she has played at both Creamfields 2012 and Future Music Festival 2012 supporting some of the world’s biggest artists!
On stage, Tigerlily’s love for music transcends into show stealing sets delivering captivating performances bringing together heavy electro beats and hard techno, with some popular vocals and a hit or two thrown in the mix.
Tigerlily’s passion not only lies in creating a vibrant atmosphere which entertains the crowd, but also in promoting the visibility and prevalence of women in the male-dominated music industry – an issue which is very close to her heart.
