Midnight Quickie (ID)

Midnight Quickie is an electronic group music/ DJ Producer (Jaya & Irsan) with a female lead singer (Tami). They mix pop and dance music genre and bring a musical performance concept with vocal and mash up live.

Their single entitled “City Lights” has brought their own sound, which has made Indonesians proud and successfully gained international recognition. It has reached #75 on the NME MaxxYou World Widechart, being one of the Indonesian artist to pass artist such as Flo Rida and Train. Along with their musical and live performance style, Midnight Quickie is heading for the commercial direction and is starting a new trend in the youth. Not so long ago, they have released their single “City Lights” which is now topping radio charts, and is now #1 in TRaxFM Jakarta and Semarang. On top of that, their single “Bebas Lepas” which was released in February 2013, the record was reached #1 on the 98.7 GEN FM & Ardan Radio Bandung, and played all over the radio in Indonesia.

Called as the “Rising Star” by many senior and artist managers, clearly they are on their way to stardom Year their performance in Djakarta Warehouse Project 2012 play along side Calvin Harris, Avicii, Paul Van Dyke, Knife Party, Porter Robinson, A-Trak, Late Night Alumni. Gaining attention from the international music scene, Midnight Quickie was became Brand Ambassador for Lenovo Indonesia campaign for “Digital Touch Turntable” and Brand Ambassador for Bratpack Indonesia. In 2014 Midnight Quickie remix Steve Aoki & Rune RK & Race – Bring You To Life and become #1 in the remix competition which was held by Dancing Astronaut.

In the first quarter in 2014 Midnight Quickie nominated as Breakthrough Artist of the year – Net One “Indonesia Choice Awards 2014“. 30 September 2014 Midnight Quickie successfully released their debut album titled “Being Bad Feels Good” and reached number 4 rank in iTunes Indonesia. Furthermore, the single “Derap Langkah” released and had captured the number 1 in Ardan Radio Bandung, also top 20 in 98.7 GEN FM Jakarta, KISS FM, Trax FM Semarang. In October 2014, Midnight Quickie made as the magazine cover of Hai Magazine and also as Raja Pensi in Info Pensi & Hai Magazine version.

As closing in 2014, Midnight Quickie for the second time successfully lead the craziness of the audience at Djakarta Warehouse Project 2014 (Garuda Main Stage, play along side Above & Beyond, DVBBS, Martin Garix, Nervo, Nicky Romero, Showtek, Skrillex, Steve Angelo, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke) and also their single with Devarra & Jamie Aditya “On Time” became After Movie Anthem for Djakarta Warehouse Project 2014 At June 2015 Midnight Quickie released their forth single “Cerita Diantara Kita“ and become #1 at Ardan Radio Bandung. Nominated Track of the Year Paranoia Awards 2015 (Dancing in the rain – Yacko & Midnight Quickie) & Nominated Group of the Year Paranoia Awards 2015. In order to celebrate Hari Pahlawan 10 November 2015, Midnight Quickie cooperate together with LINE Indonesia and Mix Radio for “A Tribute to Izmail Marzuki“, they covered a song called “Selendang Sutra“ which made in their own EDM/ future music style. Lastly, enough said, see you all on the dance floor!
