As Vegas superclub Hakkasan at the MGM Grand & Hotel unveils its star-studded line-up for 2014, it comes as no surprise to find Spanish house star Danny Avila firmly at the heart of proceedings.
The 18-year-old, who dished up some of his most electrifying sets to thousands of American EDM fans since the venue opened last year and quickly became the name on everyone’s lips, promises to deliver even bigger performances with the advent of the new year.
“I have some very special plans lined up for Vegas!” said Avila, who has established himself as one of the hottest tickets anywhere on the planet. “We have huge productions, amazing visuals, some really crazy things in mind for the crowd and of course, the music is going to blow everyone away.”
Giving some idea of just how explosive the teenager is in the mix, Danny Avila TV Episode 4: ‘Home Sweet Home Las Vegas’ showcases some of the highlights of Avila’s past 14 shows at Hakkasan, including performances alongside mentor Tiësto that threatened to bring the house down. Describing the Hakkasan team as becoming ‘family’, Danny clearly holds a special place in his heart for the Vegas venue and the hundreds of thousands of clubbers who flock to the middle of the Arizona desert week in, week out. Keith White, Director of Marketing for Hakkasan, says: “If there’s one show you don’t want to miss, it’s Danny.” With a roster that includes artists like Tiësto, Afrojack, Aoki, W&W, Above & Beyond, Calvin Harris and current #1DJ in the world Hardwell, that is high praise indeed.
