DJ Adamz (MY)

Born in JOHOR Batu Pahat, Grew up In Kluang, Johor and started his Emcee career at the age of 16 which start at High School STABK Kluang as an entertainer, arts and music industry. Adamz is a talented keyboardist, remix producer, Emcee and DJ. He made his first break in Singapore 1994 as a partime DJ Trainee at TGI Fridays, where he played alongside with DJ Simon.

Simple and harmless creature…. DJ ADAMZ IN THE MIX is a founder of www.langkawidjs.com.

Start career as a hotelier in Food & Beverage Department and slowly went to music industries.He is no stranger to doing mobile functions either. He played various functions for a well-known Hotel Group in Malaysia on a regular basis.

He is currently setup his new event company called as millenium events and doing Emcee and DJ for special occasion such as annual dinner, Family Days and as a guest Dj in varieties of places. Music Genre that he plays commercial chart toppers, all your favorite oldies from the 60’s to the 90’s, hip-hop, R&B and commercial house.

Adamz is also an accomplished DJ and has played in clubs such as “SHADOWS”, “SODA”, “BRAVO”, “CHILL OUT (penang)”, “BREAKERS”, “REWIND”, “BONGO”, “AMERICAN POOL CLUB”, “BLA BLA BAR”, “CLUB 18” and “BAROQUE”, ALOHA KL and REZONE DANCE CLUB.

Internationally he played in Thailand “KO LEH PEH “island 2006 till 2009″, and Philippines “The Galaxy” in 1997. He lives in Kuala Lumpur, Cheras at the moment and is busy remixing few numbers of Chinese songs for New Year and Tamil songs for other clubs with DJ’s and artists; working on a new remixes retro tracks for domestic release.
Adamz style is unique and can be classified as primarily Retro and R&B, which he stylishly combines with Nu-Skool breaks, Funky and groovy.

In March 2002 SHADOWS CLUB Bangsar accepted him as a Chief DJ and sets the club the very first club that runs in pure concept or R&B and Hip Hop. Adamz is uplifting and sensual behind the decks and seems to never run out of energy, proving that he have a rightful place behind the decks. Being a DJ and with such an intriguing energizing personality, he had proved pull the crowd in Soda Hartamas in year of 2006 and also hit the higher sales of history of Soda Club and then move to Club 18 and Penang for good prospects and then again Soda Hartamas counter offered to bring him back to the club for good reason.

SUCCESSFUL EVENT & SHOWS
Founder of Ministry Of Hip Hop year 2001 and did a show for the young local talent.
Organized Ministry of Hip Hop for every year once at Kuala Lumpur which featuring local artist such as Sashi the Don, Reefa, Yogi B and many more.
Semifinalist of retro retro DJ championship 2005.
Organized a Toyota Rave Party at Bangsar for Formula One Event.
Part time emceeing & DJ-ing any birthday party and functions
Handle on stage events, games and functions professionally

Emceeing formal Government Functions Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Tourism Show (MAHA 2006/2008) at UPM SERDANG.
Invited as Guest DJ at clubs around and done many more function previously
