EDMbiz 2013, organized by Pasquale Rotella’s Insomniac has announced the panelist & new speakers including reowned DJs, Pete Tong, Afrojack, Dash Berlin & Steve Aoki for the three day conference event, set to take place on 18-20 June at The Cosmopolitan hotel during the Electric Daisy Carnival 2013 week.
More confirmed EDMbiz delegates are agents Sam Kirby (WME), Maria May (CAA) and Matt Rodriquez (AM Only), managers Stephanie LaFera (Little Empire Music) and Matt Colon (Deckstar) and Beatport CEO Matt Adell.
“On the one hand EDMbiz is about creating business opportunities, learning and networking, but on the other hand it’s also about discussing the steps the industry must take to preserve the unique elements of dance music events that make them so special,” wrote Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac, in a statement. “We place a lot of focus on the fans and their voice will be heard at this year’s conference alongside artists, visionaries, and executives.”
