Dutch legend Fedde Le Grand opens up his home – aka his state-of-the-art studio in Breda, the Netherlands – in the first of a series of video Q&A sessions. Watch the video after the jump.
The man behind current smash hit ‘No Good’ and just released monster ‘Lion (Feel The Love) has been taking questions from fans for the past four weeks using the Twitter hashtag #ASKFLG – and unsurprisingly has been absolutely bombarded.
Now check out the Q&A sessions before you proceed with more exciting news
This first episode, airing now on Fedde’s FLGTV YouTube channel, gives viewers a glimpse inside the mind of one of the most prolific producers to grace house and electro. Talking about everything from the origins of Flamingo Recordings to crazed fans throwing underwear on stage to some of the darkest times in his career when he literally lost everything in the pursuit of the dream, it’s Fedde stripped bare and accessible for those that want to gain more than a little insight into what it takes to be one of the leading artists in EDM.
With more sessions to come over the next few weeks and the hint that this may become a regular thing from Le Grand, fans can still send questions in using the power of social media. To tap in, just tag #ASKFLG – whether you want to know about his worst clubbing experience, how he survives on the road, tips for breaking into the industry or if you’re at a loss on your latest production and could do with the advice of a Grand master – Fedde is waiting to hear from you now!
And if you’re wondering just why Fedde Le Grand is qualified to answer any and all questions on the subject, check out the evidence as FLG TV releases his huge Tomorrowland 2013 set in all its glory. Once again cementing his status as not just a production titan but one of the most jaw-dropping artists in the mix, this one hour juggernaut of electronic music had them screaming on the fields of Boom and could cause a similar break-out at home or work!
Fedde Le Grand Live @ Tomorrowland 2013 Set
Upon the grandest stages from Tomorrowland to Coachella, it’s Fedde’s enormous classic ‘Metrum’ that never fails to get even the biggest of crowds in raptures. A definitive hit in the Le Grand catalogue, it has now landed in the hands of Toolroom legend Umek to redefine the 2011 smash hit. Harnessing the original’s raw elements but yet moulding it to a powerful techno edge, this one is not to be missed for fans of the two super producers.
