Kuala Lumpur, 28 May 2014 – The world’s most loved single malt whisky, Glenmorangie, took over Zouk @ Kuala Lumpur last Thursday night and celebrated all things ‘Unnecessarily Well Made’ at its first Glenmorangie Orange Party of 2014.
It was an iconic night as guests, celebrities and fans of Glenmorangie experienced a creative impression of “Unnecessarily Well Made” as they took a 3-D artistic journey throughout the Glenmorangie Distillery, accompanied by a walkabout cask.
The 3D artistic experience was made possible through a collaboration with Haze Long, a 3-D illustration specialist, who created three art pieces that transported guests of the night to the Glenmorangie Distillery in Scotland. Each 3-D art piece also displayed a unique ADA code which revealed interesting bits of information of the iconic Glenmorangie Distillery item represented in the art piece.
Party revellers were entertained by the big room music style of Imma*bleep* YouUp and the beats of Zouk’s Residence DJ as they brought the house down. There were three lucky guests that walked away with a bottle of Glenmorangie The Original each, by dialling the ADA code the most amount of times in three different time slots during the night. Guests who captured their favourite Glenmorangie moments at the Flipet booth were given an animated flip-book of themselves as a keepsake from the party.
Discerning drinkers also indulged in the Glenmorangie Zest Serve – a familiar highlight at Glenmorangie parties that infuses delicious tangerine to complement the notes of vanilla and citrus zest of Glenmorangie The Original.
Pulling out all the stops has been a familiar trait in all of Glenmorangie’s bespoke parties, thanks to a driving spirit which stems from Glenmorangie’s tried and tested decree of being “Unnecessarily Well Made”; from using the tallest distillery stills in Scotland, to sourcing the finest white oaks for maturation casks that are only ever used twice.
