Lately Forbes compiled a list of top 13 world’s highest paid millionaire djs in the electronic dance music scene. Calvin Harris was among the electronic music cash king revealed, who made $46 million last year, with a nightly dj fee in excess of $200,000. 2nd highest paid dj, Tiesto, 44 years old, known as the godfather of trance, earned $32 million last year, also made his comeback to the trance scene lately. Tiesto currently have 15 million Facebook fans & 2 million Twitter fans supporting him. “I think Las Vegas is really taking over from Ibiza this year,” says Tiësto. “You can already see… all the DJs having their residence there now. It’s going to be interesting to see how that develops. But it looks really good.”
Avicii, 23 years old, was among the youngest millionaire DJ in the list earning $20 million. “The money you get for DJing at these places has gone to extremes,” admits Avicii.
