Food Village & Festival Fringe Activities

For the very first time in its run, ZoukOut Singapore 2016 will feature an all-out food village primed to keep revellers fuelled throughout the festival. From hearty sandwiches from Park Bench Deli, fresh bowls of barachirashi from Teppei Syukudo, to “Cze Char” cuisine from Keng Eng Kee Seafood, the festival will gather a cauldron of favourite restaurants across the country with other vendors including Bird Bird by Chef Bjorn Shen, wholesome burgers from Three Buns, authentic Texas-style Decker Barbeque, and Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King.

To jazz up the festival grounds, the team has also engaged roaming performers across both days. Decked up in tribal costumes to emphasise the “One Tribe” theme, stilt walkers from Joan Walker will be strutting their stuff amidst the crowds for carnival-perfect photo opportunities. In yet another effort to support young local talents and to represent unity, the Singapore Management University’s resident Afro-Brazilian percussion ensemble, Samba Masala will be present with a repertoire of dynamic and vibrant rhythms to bring up the festival spirit.

ZOUKOUT X H&M

In celebration of the festival’s sixteenth edition, ZoukOut Singapore has collaborated with official apparel partner, H&M, to release exclusive festival t-shirts. This partnership is also the global fashion brand’s first ever collaboration with a Singapore-born festival. Designed by local illustrators and designers Liu Yiling (Toxi Notion), Moon Malek and Heng Sihui, each of the graphics are intended to reflect the “One Tribe” theme of unity and to encapsulate the epic ZoukOut party experience.

To be sold exclusively at the H&M Orchard Building flagship store from 25th to 27th of November and subsequently at the festival ground itself, festival goers and shoppers will also be able to browse and get their hands on party outfits from a specially curated corner fashioned with festival-ready looks.

Over the same weekend, party goers will be able to cop exclusive priority passes upon purchasing or presenting ZoukOut e-tickets at the H&M Orchard Building collection booth located on the second floor of the store. One lucky shopper per day will also stand a chance to win a pair of 2-day priority passes. Bringing the party to the store as a prelude to the upcoming party, Zouk resident DJs including Lincey, Matthew and Zushan will be present in store over the three collection days.

T-shirt, Ticket sales and collection timings as follows:
25th November (Friday): 5PM – 8PM
26th & 27th November (Saturday & Sunday): 12PM – 8PM
*Exclusive priority passes are on first-come, first-serve basis with limited quantities per day

ZOUKOUT X HAVAIANAS

Reprising its role as the official footwear for ZoukOut for the 7th year running, Brazilian flip-flop and sandal brand Havaianas will be releasing a limited edition bundle pack for both the ladies and gents. Designed to provide comfort throughout a weekend of grooving, the women’s Slim Block features funky colour block prints accented with a pastel pink branding, while the men’s Havaianas TOP features geometric prints in shades of blue and white.

Every purchase of the limited edition flip-flops will come with a handy and commemorative dry bag that was specially designed through an open call Havaianas x ZoukOut dry bag design competition. Each purchase will also entitle fans and customers a chance to win a pair of ZoukOut tickets and complimentary Zouk Club passes through a weekly draw held from 1 November to 4 December 2016.

The Havaianas Limited Edition ZoukOut bundle pack ($65.90) will be available exclusively at the following H and CommonThread stores:
H Store, Takashimaya (#B1-38)
CommonThread, Bugis Junction (#02-02)
CommonThread, ION (#B2-18)

PRE-ZOUKOUT GIGS

In the lead up to the ZoukOut Singapore 2016, Zouk resident DJs will be spreading the Zouk sound across regional markets at the best dance clubs.
