Static sound and white noise can trigger you brain to rest. Listen to any static sound or white noise especially TV static and rain drops aid you to relax and fall asleep faster. This is one of the most effective way to sleep well at night. You don’t have to record any of the sound yourself, the best way is to download white noise Android app (if you using Android), let the app run the static sound while you laying on the bed. Place it next to you.

Listen to soothing music if you find static sound way too dull for you, you can try something soothing and light. Listen to relaxing music like jazz & new age music, will definitely helps you sleep well. Remember don’t crank up the music too loud, as it might disturb your concentration instead of falling asleep. I recommend using this free Android radio app called “Tune In Radio”.

Just place the phone beside you, and adjust the static sound and volume until you feel comfortable.
